	 Pan-European Forum Time & Place Pan-European Forum on "Human Rights in the Information Society: Empowering children and young people" ( October 5 - 6, 2006 ) The Council of Europe is organizing in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the Information Technologies Foundation of Armenia, the Pan-European Forum on "Human Rights in the Information Society: Empowering children and young people" in Yerevan, Armenia. In the light of the Council of Europe priorities concerning the protection of children, this Forum will examine ways and means to best inform and equip children and young people (and also their educators) with the skills needed to exercise (and to enjoy) their human rights and to deal responsibly with on-line content and behaviors which carry a risk of harm. This multi-stakeholder event will bring together a number of key actors to consider how best stakeholders can provide and facilitate effective information literacy and training to children, young people and their educators. www.coeforumis.am
