International Symposium on Information and Communication Technologies:
Opportunities and Challenges in Landlocked Developing Countries is planned to take place on October 3-6, 2006, Yerevan Armenia. It is held under the UN patronage.
For 4 days, 300 college students and young professionals from around the world will convene at the American University of Armenia in Yerevan, the Republic of Armenia to discuss the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in economic development. By way of interactive participation in workshops, speaker series, panels, and small group discussions, participants will have the opportunity to learn from and exchange ideas with not only their peers, but with the leaders and professionals responsible for the development and successful implementation of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
