	 10.10.06 Alcatel company is intended to open a software development center in Armenia. Vice-President of Alcatel company for CIS countries, Johan Vanderplaetse told journalists in Tbilisi. “We are proud to use the Armenian talent in new direction, for the world market of the companies. It is not a past or present technology but a technology that is newly being used by such companies as British Telecom, France Telecom”, he said. During the recent visit of President of Alcatel Serge Churuka to Armenia together with the delegation of President of France Jacques Chirac an agreement was signed with Armenian company LuxoftA for joint software development.
