On Friday 22 of September during the press conference, Garegin Choogaszian, the executive director of Information Technologies Fund, told that “IT Month called on consolidating all the companies working in ICT sphere. According to him the aim of the organized events is to unite the potentials directed to the development of the sphere. The IT Month will show the world that Armenia does not merely talk about information technology, but has great potential and achievements in the sphere.
On its turn Karen Vardanyan, the executive director of Union of Information Technologies Enterprises –UITE, mentioned that attention towards IT sphere should not be only for a month but the whole year. He told that during the IT month event are organized for all the segments of the population, particularly for pupils, students, programming professionals, specialists of microelectronics, managers of IT companies and institutions.
“The participants of the events should understand that we are one team and that the society should be headed towards the same direction of IT development in the country” said K. Gevorgyan.
